Pharrell Williams asserts his style : return to the Louis Vuitton Mens FW 2024 Fashion Show
The Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter 2024 show led by music icon Pharrell Williams married timeless luxury with a contemporary aesthetic. A rather original point noted was the presence of female models during the parade.
For his third fashion show with Maison Louis Vuitton which took place at the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Pharell Williams returned to the western style.
He highlighted his native Virginia, with a harmonica in the guest invitation card engraved with “LV Lovers” playing between the famous slogan “Virginia is for Lovers” and “Louis Vuitton Lovers”.
During the parade we saw the return of cowboy hats, cowboy boots, buffalo checks and ponchos, all with an American desert decor.
Clean cuts, bright colors and bold patterns have merged to create a collection that exudes modernity and originality. We pointed out that there was a collaboration with the Timberland brand on the catwalk for the models' boots.
Finally, the presence of Native American tribes and a tribute to the “black wild west” really brought a unique, committed and daring touch. Following on from Virgil Abloh, Pharrell Williams recalled his commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Models of all ethnicities, genders and sizes strode confidently down the runway, reflecting Pharrell Williams' vision of a more representative and inclusive fashion industry. This celebration of diversity added an extra dimension of depth and authenticity to the collection.
The fashion house has once again demonstrated its commitment to creative excellence and its continued influence on the global fashion industry.
